Sandrine Holt is born Sandrine Ho on November 19 1972, in London. Sandrine Holt is the daughter of Chinese parents and French mothers. She moved to Toronto Canada when she was five, and it has been her home for the last five years. The model was catwalk models at Paris and then became an actor. Her first film role was Annuka as Annuka in Black Robe (1991). This role was recognized with a Genie Award, the Canadian Oscar. The movies Rapa Nui Rise in Paradise The Legend of Pocahontas and Dance with the Murderer followed as well as guest performances in Poltergeist The Uncanny Force and Outer Limits The Unknown Dimension. For 22 seasons, she played a key character in John Woo's The Thief. Starship Troopers 2 Hero of the Federation was later followed by Resident Evil Apocalypse in 2004. Both films are only available on DVDVHS. Following a string of small role for her in 24 Twenty Four, Runaway and other films she got her first major role in which she was a main character. Holt was a veteran of the industry, having appeared in a number of shows and films and guest roles before that time, landed a major part for herself in Hostages (2013) as well as a role on Netflix's House of Cards. She starred as Julie Han in the US remake of The Returned in 2015 and was cast as the character Dr. Bethany Exner cast.
